Of all the lines I am researching, I have the least info on my Morris ancestors from Panola/ Shelby Co area- my greatgrandmother was Mary Morris b Dec 1867- what a name to research! Might as well be Mary Jones! She married JL (Morgan) Richards. She died in 1916, leaving 4 children. I know she had a sister, MayBelle or Mabel who also married a Richards. I know of 2 brothers- Ote and QM Morris but not who her parents were....I think there is a connection to Elijah and Benjamin Morris who were early settlers of the area.
