William Worth Phillips, b. 25 Mar 1850, Vienna, Jackson Parish, LA, m. Mary Jane (Jennie) Winder 5 Jan 1871, Rusk Co. TX. These are my GGrandparents. Mary Elizabeth Phillips, b. 1848, Vienna, Jackson Parish, LA, m. Jonathan Henry Phillips, b. 3 Sep 1831, Meriwether Co. GA. Reuben Nathan, William Worth, and Mary Elizabeth were the children of Jonathan A. Phillips, and grandchildren of Reuben Phillips. Terrisa, Arabella Missouri, and Jonathan Henry Phillips, were the children of Joel White Phillips. I have additional information concerning the above Phillips, their parents, and siblings. I don't have any information indicating any connection between your line and the above lines. You will find all the above Phillips on the 1860 Rusk Co. TX census. Reuben and Joel Phillips and their families lived on adjoining properties at that time.
