    1. Willis Murphrey(Murphy) & Priscilla Dixon
    2. Tony & Sue (Skay) Abruscato
    3. Hi everyone: I'm new to this list so I will input who I'm researching. I'm researching the family of Willis Murphrey(Murphy) and wife Priscilla Dixon. They settled in De Zavalla Colony (Sabine/San Augustine Co., his headright fell in both counties) in 1825. Collateral families: Drawhorn, Eddings, Dewese, Williams, Dorsett, Renfro, Tynes, Davis and many more. McMahans Chapel, the first protestant church in Texas was built on part of his original headright. Would love to hear from anyone researching these families. My grandmother's sisters married Scogin and Moore. I think there are still people in Terrell but can't seem to find out who they are. I joine the Tyrell Hist Society hoping someone would know. None of the other names ring a bell. All of this took place after my ggrandmother came to TX in the 1850s. Her name was Emerine Virginia Tiffany Wills. The WILLS daughters are the ones who married the Scoggin and Moores. The cemetery in Terrell has in the same plot Wills, Scoggin, Moore.
