Roll Call: Van Zandt and Kaufman Counties: Emerine TIFFANY Wills came to Van Zandt Co or Kaufman Co in late 1850s. Her husband died in VA. My question is why she came with all these children. Susan Vermillion WILLS (1826-1880) married John G MOORE. Mary Bradwell WILLS (1848-1897) married William Dawson SCOGIN Martha Hance WILLS (1846-1920) married Joseph Graves BOOTH in Tyrell in 1863. My grandparents Gustavos Adolphus WILLS married Agnes ANDREWS Henry Clay WILLS (died as a child) Lavett WILLS married John WHITEFORD. Quite a few are buried in Terrell (Kaufman) in one cemetery plot. Where are the descendents of all these people? I know one of Mary and all of Martha but none of the others. Just think someone might have more of the history of the family.
Van Zandt Co. WILLS, SCOGIN, MOORE, BOOTH

Seeking, as ever, any links to William (Henry?) Fuller and wife Ida, and their children Gail, Willie Mae (my line), Gussie, Jesse, Bert and Joe. Lived in Orange, TX in 1900, still there as of 1909. No other trades of William and Ida (Ida was said to be half-Cherokee). Seeking also info on my Tanner line, also 1900 (through 1910)...Keron Kesia (Kieran Keziah?) Tanner who wed Mary Elillilian Bishop and had one son Louis (that we know of). Keron was the son of John Benjamin Tanner and Narcissus Priscilla Kirkpatrick. After his divorce from Mary, he just sort of does a slow fade from east Texas. Any sightings of him elsewhere? Would appreciate any links or info. Thanks, Melody

Margaret, Much interested in the COKER items you mention, and would love to see the info. Good chance John Coker (San Jacinto article) is cousin of Joseph Coker, who left GA for TX after the Civl War. Also looking for anything to do with any LAIRD/LARD in Southeast Texas counties (Jasper, Wood, Shelby, etc.) They began showing up there in the late 1830s from GA and MS. Cheers, Russell Laird Mt. RootsLady's still hanging around. Don't seem to have much extra time to do personal research with 8 Texas counties (HARDIN, JEFFERSON, NEWTON, ORANGE, SABINE, SAN AUGUSTINE, SABINE) and I just offered to take on EARLY Co., GA + 4 mailing lists and SETGHS. I really do think a "ROLL CALL" comes in handy at least once a month. So get ready all you folks that are on TXTYLER-L and SABINE-L. Got a really cute saying submitted to the "OUTHOUSE" (genealogy humor) today. GENEALOGIST PRAYER God grant me the serenity to accept the ancestors I cannot find, the courage to find the ones I can, and the wisdom to document thoroughly.
