Hi Yall, I am building a web page of Texas research sites. I invite yall to take a look at what I have so far. http://www.angelfire.com/tx2/texassites.html If you would like your home page added to the site please send me a link. Or if you know of a real good site please send me a link. Eventually I would like to bring the Texas Page up to the standards of my Alabama Page. http://www.angelfire.com/tx2/AlabamaSites.html Thank you in advance Bill Hocutt
Unfortunately, I can't afford the time it takes to read so many messages, so I'm unsubscribing right after I send this message. If anyone would like to respond to this or any of my previous queries please be sure my personal address (not just the east tx rootsweb address) shows in your address box: [email protected] My suggestion for the volume problem is to break the list up into counties or at least to define what counties are East... Membership has grown so much it needs more narrow focus to be really effective. These are my heaviest East Texas roots: SANDERS Titus & Franklin Co. ASHBY Titus Co. RAY ROBBINS BURNETT Wood Co. & surrounding counties Au revoir & Good luck everybody
Hi Patti Can you tell me what part of Texas your Walker's were from? Mine were from Wshington, Walker then Caldwell Counties before they left to go to California. Hi Chris My husband's gggrandfather was Thomas Jackson Holcomb born ca 1861 in Texas and married a Clarissa Belle Hernly in 1883 in San Antonio. He also has Grant's in his family line, starting with Robert Grant born 1850 in Scotland, who married a Sarah Grant in the 1870's in Scotland, and during the 1870's they came to the US. Let me know if this sounds familiar, Kathy Lane Mitchell Chris Grant wrote: > > Hi All, > > The families I am searching for in east Texas are Holcomb (Erna and > Mayda), McLeod (Norman, Marlene, Bivian Lee, Juanita Laudiann (called > Sitter) and Norman Offard) and Crawford (Robert Charles and Mary (perhaps > Brusso)).
