    3. Many thanks to all those who replied.   Unfortunately none of them have shown the farm I was looking for - Morgan's Park, Rudbaxton - it last appears in the 1891 census, having first appeared in the 1851 census.   regards Megan ________________________________

    3. Have you asked Nikki Bosworth about this? She is normally pretty good at tracking down a relevant map with this degree of detail. Better not wait too long - as they will be closing down to move the Record Office soon to new premisies. 3. Hi Megan   I was going to suggest looking at the near neighbours of Morgans Park on the 1891 census and to then search for those addresses on the modern interactive mapping system on the Council website.  If you found one of those addresses, you then have the option to transfer to an 1891 map of the same area.  You might find Morgans Park that way.    However,  Genuki place names at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/PEM/places2.html lists Morgans Park,Rudbaxton (PEM),196980,221330 with the numbers being the x,y co-ordinates.    I'm sure someone on the list can tell us how to find those co-ordinates on a map!    Regards   Sandra ________________________________ From: Megan Roberts <[email protected]> To: Dyfdd List <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, 2 June 2012, 11:02 Subject: Re: [Dyfed] Old Maps Many thanks to all those who replied.   Unfortunately none of them have shown the farm I was looking for - Morgan's Park, Rudbaxton - it last appears in the 1891 census, having first appeared in the 1851 census.   regards Megan ________________________________ ================================ Dyfed list http://home.clara.net/daibevan/DyfedML.html ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
