Dear Derrick, I'll go one better....Abram Garrat (their spelling not mine) in 1810 at Jeffreston married Martha HIX(?) ......I presume this should be Hicks. Off list I will send you the portion of the Pemb. pre 1813 Marriages index which shows the six Garret/Garrett male marriages at Lawrenny from 1756 when John Garret married Susanna Hood.... From the marriage dates it would seem some may have been brothers, or at least cousins. I'll have a look later and see what the Garret girls were doing! I haven't had a look myself but you may find there were Wills, so check out "The National Library of Wales pre 1858 Wills" site on the internet.....my easiest way to access this site is through Google. Don't forget to use all the various spellings of the name different scribes may have used.
