There is a degree of overlap, but the Gale archive only covers a selection of the 19th century papers. They don't have a complete run. The British Newspaper Archive (BNA) has 20th century papers as well. The latter is adding to the archive all the time but the Gale one is as complete as it's intended to be (unless someone knows otherwise of course <G>).
