Myra, Megan stated In the 1871 Census my gt grandmother Mary Ann Cousins is shown with family in Cuckoo Lane, St Martin as follows: COSSENS, George Head 28 1843 COSSENS, Elizabeth Wife 28 1843 COSSENS, Thomas Son 9 1862 COSSENS, Hannah Daughter 7 1864 COSSENS, John Son 5 1866 COSSENS, Mary AnnDaughter 3 1868 COSSENS, James Son 9 months 1870 The Hannah shown in the above was born between 1856 and 1859 to allow for errors in the declared age. The Hannah I identified fits the bill perfectly. Here are the details again Hannah COZENS Haverfordwest June Qtr 1858 11a 719 I am not sure where the one you have found came from? If she was in service: 1). She may have lied about her age to get the post. 2). Whoever provided the answers for the Census, did not know, and estimated her age.
