I am trying to trace David James, a mariner, who was baptised at Bethlehem Baptist chapel, Newport, PEM on 28 Feb 1866. So born roughly around 1851. The baptism register, kept in Welsh, records that he later was 'Gollyngwyd 29 Awst 1900 Siloamdocks'. This means that he was released to join another chapel but where was Siloamdocks which may have been Siloam Docks? hwyl Reg Davies ________________________________ From: "dyfed-request@rootsweb.com" <dyfed-request@rootsweb.com> To: dyfed@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, 24 September 2013, 8:00 Subject: DYFED Digest, Vol 8, Issue 199 ----- Forwarded Message ----- Please delete any irrelevant notes when replying to this digest.
