    3. According to various census returns and the details shown in the parish register when he married, William EVANS was born in Cayo (Conwil Caio) between 1849 and 1852. His father, also William, was a butcher. I have attempted to locate the details of his baptism on Freereg and the LDS Familysearch without success (the latter does show a number of William EVANS but does not include the names of the parents!!). I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has come across this family. Adrian Yorkshire
