There may be a connection to family of British Prime Minister Lloyd George. I have studied the George family of Fagwr Fran Puncheston Pembrokeshire. Unfortunately I cannot find enough evidence to state that John George head of this family in 1841 census was a brother to William George the direct ancestor of Lloyd George, but members of Lloyd George's Tree  have found a connection to Fagwr Fran.  Lloyd George's branch were at Llanwnda and nearby districts of North Pembrokeshire. However I have found that as a young man John George of Puncheston would ride to Rhydwilym Baptist chapel for services. This would be about  1790. There was no Baptist chapels at Puncheston at that time. George is quite a frequent surname  in Pembrokeshire so not every "George" is  related. Maybe members of the "George" society can help. This is an important gathering of people who have the surname George in their family. They used to meet regularly but I do not know if they still do and unfortunately I do not have their contact details. Perhaps a member of this list  would know.
