Hi Yvonne A bit of googling suggests that 'Sunamees' is the Welsh equivalent of "Shunammite" and refers to the Old Testament story of Elisha (prophet and successor of Elijah) raising the dead son of the rich woman of Shunem, in return for her generosity. Moral - when you find a strange name in Wales thst is not obviously Celtic, suspect Biblical connections!
