my late paternal Grandparents were Christmas Owen - born 25th December 1901 and Mary born 1908 and thanks to Christmas' never ending tales of "he's related to us" "they are family" started my fascination/obsession with family tree research.. and I am still struggling to confirm the connections of some of those tales.
