Hello Cousins. David C GEORGE came out last month and secondhandly introduced me to his GEORGE mail list. By introduction, I enter the GEORGE family in 1777 in Greenbrier Co, WV when my gm Martha GEORGE <1755 PA-1811 m my known gf George SEE. She came ca 1775 with adult siblings from present day Shenandoah Co, VA led my missionary Baptist Minister Rev John Alderson, Jr. Her parents were my gf Thomas GEORGE the elder & a Miss MOORE [here enters above Harry Long, a living authority on ALDERSON, GEORGE & MOOREs of Lindville Cr in present day Shenandoah Co, VA]. There ch were Wm, my gm Martha, Hannah, Deborah, Thomas, Jr. all b 1750-60s prob in Bucks Co, PA. GF Thos & fam came to Shenandoah Co, VA in 1760s with Bapt Minister John Alderson, Sr. Both the Aldersons and GEORGE were mem of the New Britain Baptist Church in Bucks Co, PA. Father of my gf Thomas GEORGE the elder was the William GEORGE b ca 1796 [bapt 22 Apr 1709 @ Rhydwilym [Baptist] Chapel, Pembrokeshire, Wales]. No wf has ever been cited for this progenitor Wm GEORGE but his 1/25/1765 will in Buckingham Twp, Bucks Co, PA lists - Sons Philip [never heard of!], Thomas [my gf]. Daughters Jane Kerrel [CARROLL], Martha Hylyard, Ann West & Susanna Heyferlin. Granddaughters Martha George [my gm] & Anne Hyly [Hylyard?]. Baptist Congregation at New Britain given 5 pounds - John Mathews Trustee thereof. Sons-in-law John West & Cornelius Hylyard appointed executors. David Stephens appointed trustee. Witnesses Simon Mathew, John Boyd & David Evans. GF Wm b ca 1796 Wales is listed among 20 founding members of this New Britain Bapt Ch, Gwynedd Twp, Bucks Co, PA formed 1754 from the Montgomery Bapt Ch in Montgomery Co, PA. July 1730: "Wm GEORGE received @ Montgomery Bapt Ch from Great Valley Bapt Ch" per Hist of Montgomery Bapt Ch by Edward Mathews @ CB Lib 8 Nov 2013. No mention of wf or ch?? Between 1720-<Jul 1730: @ Great Valley Bapt Ch in Tredyffryn Twp, Chester Co, PA. Wm is listed as donating 2 A for meeting house and other donations/endowments. I project that Wm migrated to PA in 1720s?? And that's my story.. I welcome errors, corrections, additions, suggestions...
