Elwyn, Enjoyment is not the right word. I speak my mind, and you can like or lump it. The fact that you and I are related through our Harri(e)s and according to unsubstantiated Family Legend the Pictons makes not an IOTA of difference. I do claim to an expert, but am credited with more knowledge of West Wales families than most, and am more than happy to assist List Posters who have a genuine query, and have hit a brick wall. I may not be able to provide an answer, but whenever there is a query that comes within my circle of knowledge, I try and be constructive. Answering queries of the type that you post, is quite frankly of no interest no me, and in my opinion should not be posted to the list. If you bought a subscription to Find my Past or Ancestry, and taught yourself to use Google as suggested, you could reserve the unresolved queries for the list. Most list members, delete anything by Elwyn Schreuder without reading them. Perhaps the fact that you replied to me directly, and not via the list, means you plead Guilty, to trying to use the list to research your family history on the cheap. I think long and hard before I post to the list, and whatever I post is my considered opinion. I salute you. If this was a Forum there would be a "like" button I could click to show I agreed wholeheartedly with your comment. There would also be the ability to "ignore" posts from certain members. By the same token, those who consider some of my posts offensive, could ignore me. It would be a lot more constructive, if they replied to the original poster, rather took issue with replies, without adding anything. All, Can we please limit this thread to the facts about Llandgwydd Church and not make it personal. Thank You, Dai List Admin.
