Before I nudge another family researcher who has listed Ann's birthplace as Aberystwyth, is there any connection of Aberystwyth to Cardigan Town, such as the name of the town was renamed? In the 1861 Merthyr Tydfil census she is listed as having been born in Cardigan Town. Thanks for your help.
