    3. Listers, Please be patient. I am in the process of setting up a new list on groups.io, but am rather busy at the moment.  I am testing the new site with 8 other to try and find any problems before opening to all.  On the surface the systems are very useful, but now wil allow Html text, and allow attachments. Be patient! Dai

    3. That is good news I think Dai. Several other groups I belong to have moved to .io, and were able to transfer files from the old Yahoo. I was not involved in this work, but from what I have heard they had good help from yahoo techies. I thought the deadline passed, but maybe they have extended it due to demand. Rachel BoydSouthside VA USA  Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Sat, Jan 11, 2020 at 2:38 AM, Dai/Angela Bevan<daibevan@clara.co.uk> wrote: Listers, Please be patient. 3. Rachel, It is unlikely we will be able transfer archives.  You are correct that it was done for Yahoo, but the help system says that at the moment they have so much demand from paying customers that enquiries are not being taken from those  on the free system.  It would also need cooperation from Ancestry to traasfer the archives, and I would not be confident that Ancestry would cooperate. 3. Dai, you never know. Ancestry is Mormon based so one would think that they would be helpful.
