I am a newcomer to the list, enquiring about Martha James, mother of John, b. Nov.5th. 1881. There is no father's name on John's birth certificate, so presume Martha was unmarried. John's place of birth is given as Quay Street, Haverfordwest. I am seeking further info on Martha James, who according to the 1871 census, would be aged abt. 4 on the 1861 census. Is anyone able to look at the 1861 census to confirm this and Martha's place of birth, which may have ben Haycastle. Or is there anyone on the list with info. on the marriage of her parents.
