Roy I have looked at the Narberth hundred poll books for 1812 and 1831 held at the Pembrokeshire Record Office. These contain the following information: Name Residence Qualification e.g. if freehold, leasehold etc Place voted for e.g. name of farm Parish where place voted for is Occupier's details - if different (1831 only) Who voted for (1812 only) Sundry remarks Following on from Katherine's comment, I have been researching my family history in a coalmining area in Pembrokeshire. The local electorate comprised all members of the community including the most obvious such as gentry and farmers but also, more surprisingly, colliers. Several of these were granted 3-life leases by local landowners and this provided an entitlement to vote even though they leased maybe only a cottage and an acre of land at most. There are earlier 1765 & 1768 poll books for Pembrokeshire held at NLW (Ms 308e). These often provide genealogical information about voters who had to justify their right to vote. I'm unsure if people had to be just freeholders or if people with long and expensive leases were included. There is one I found in Henllan Amgoed and I'm fairly certain he was a leaseholder. Also says whom they voted for.The ones I found were for 1722,1727 and 1754.
