    1. [Dyfed] Pembrokehire Poll Books
    2. Roy Davies
    3. I have just been using the Family History Library Catalog and found some information about poll books for pre-1841 censuses in Pembrokeshire. The description is copied below. http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp "Four Pembrokeshire Parliamentary election polling books: 1) Hundred of Roose (Rhos) , election held May-June 1807 (6418). 2) Hundred of Roose (Rhos) , election held October 1812 (6419). 3) Hundred of Narberth, election held October, 1812 (6420). 4) Hundred of Castlemartin, election held October, 1812 (6421).The title board incorrectly states parish. Roose, Narberth, and Castlemartin are hundreds, not parishes in this context." Does anyone know what sort of information those poll books contain? Would they have the names and addresses of the (all male) voters? What proportion of the population were entitled to vote then? Roy
