Dear Gerry, Thanks so much for the info from the Place Names of Pembrokeshire. I haven't been able to locate an old map showing the location either. I did, however, have success with a current Ordnance Survey Map. Portheiddy is shown on map #157 St. David's and Haverfordwest. It's just west of Llanrhian. I had a look at " Old Maps" [ http://www.old-maps.co.uk] putting Portheiddy, PEMBROKESHIRE in the search box but could not find the name you seek.
