How do you access land tax assessments? That's very easy. Go into your local Family History Center and order them. They were filmed by the Mormons many years ago. The Cardiganshire ones are great; Carmarthenshire's are horrible. I don't know about Pembrokeshire. Never had a reason to look up anybody in PEM. By the way, its for all of Wales . Can you confirm Land Tax Returns for Carmarthenshire survive (apart from 1798 at the National Archives)? Pembrokeshire survives from 1786 to 1831.
