David: Not sure how far forward you are with this family, but thought I might add the name appears in my history (through marriage) but spelled Seyse and Sayse. This was in the Welsh settled area of New York state (Cattaraugus County - Arcade & Freedom). My connections are the early 1900's. Janice Mills Hi David, I have an early reference to an Ann Sais of Abercastle in a will of 1786 - she was then a widow and a sub-tenant of William Morgan, Merchant, the testator. Unfortunately there are no more details about her in this will. Phoebe was my great grandmother she married David Morris and I have all her census records a death certificate. But, what happened to the other Sais / Saies children ? Mary, Martha, Thomas, Henry, Elizabeth & Anne.
