Please can you help me with a problem?.   Richard Hall was born 7 July 1844 Lamyatt Somerset, his birth cert; gave only his mother's name, Martha Hole.   His marr; cert; his fathers name Richard Hall,  24 January 1874, Llanwenarth Ultra, Monmouth, I know the name was given as Hall or Hole, the later family used Hall.   My conundrum, was  Richard elligitimate, his mother later marrying the father, yet his mom had the Hole name.   Would SKS have the 1841 cencus for Somerset hopefully finding mother and father, I believe the cencus # is HO107/963 for Lamyatt.   By the time Rchard jnr married in 1874 he had moved to Monmouth in Wales.   Thank you.   Sylvia in Kentucky
