Hello All, I have made this enquiry before, but have heard nothing further. How usual was it for inter marriages between Pembrokeshire men and Irish women around late eighteenth century? I have reason to believe there is an Irish connection in my tree(family story) I am looking for marriage of a John Oliver and Mary, John being of Dinas. Cannot find this in Pembrokeshire. Would there be a great difficulty in such an Irish/Welsh marriage because of religion etc? or would it not have mattered?
