Hi I believe that my ancestors were John Roch, bachelor, and Anne Castle, spinster, married at St Petrox 26 Feb 1814. According to the 1851 & 61 censuses Anne Roch was born in Aberavon, Glam. c.1791 and the 1871 shows Port Talbot, Glam. However, there is no baptism for an Anne Castle at Aberavon, nor at Margam, and there is no sign in the PRs of those parishes of any Castle family. I know that there were Castles in Pembrokeshire around this time and I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge of an Anne Castle baptised around 1790/1. My thought is that her family might have been staying in Aberavon/Port Talbot when Anne was born but that they might have been from Pembs. and had her baptised there. Any information would be of interest.
