Hi, I know I have not written to this list for some time but I have a question that perhaps someone can answer from this list. I am looking for a birth/baptism of an Evan Maddy around 1730/45. He was married at Llanigon in Breconshire in 1766, although it is possible he was also married 6 years earlier in 1760. I assume first wife died. I have found that there were some Maddys around Carmathenshire in the 1700's and am wondering if perhaps he came from that area as I can find no evidence of his birth/baptism in Breconshire. I did see that there was a Samuel Maddy in Llanarthney in 1700 with a wife Ann? Here's hoping. Sue in Suffolk
