    3. Has anyone lost an Evan Evans, probably of Carrog, Llanrhystud, who may have emigrated in the late 19th century? Here are some entries I came across in the Melbourne Argus newspaper showing the marriage of his daughter and birth of a grandson: [Saturday 1 June 1918:] NUTTING—EVANS.—On the 14th March, 1918, at St. Michael's Church of England, North Carlton,by the Rev. E. S. Watsford, Harry George, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Nutting, McIlwraithstreet, North Carlton, to Gwendolin Elizabeth,only daughter of Mr and Mrs. Evan Evans,"Carrog," Wilson street, North Carlton. Present address, "Llanrhystyd," Lang street, North Carlton. [Saturday 19 July 1924:] NUTTING (nee Gwen Evans).—On the 8th July,at Llanrhystyd, Lang street, North Carlton, to Mr. and Mrs. Harry G.
