Hello Lynne, I too have an interest in 18th century trade to Bristol - my Morgan family was based at Abercastle and sold goods as far as Newport(PEM). There is a reference in West Wales Historical Records, the 14 books mainly by Francis Green - he wrote an article about a ship's captain who left some information on his errands to Bristol in 1765. I don't exactly remember the name but I think it might have been Abel Davies.
