Thanks to Anna for her reply about the National Song Book. She is younger than me but she has a long memory. I also have a copy of The Songs of Wales which are written in English and Welsh. It is edited by Brinley Richards and was published in 1873 on St. David's Day according to the editor. It is a Royal Edition dedicated by special permission to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales which must have been the future Edward VII. Is this rare? Vera
Hello Vera, "Is it rare?" There are a number of second hand copies for sale on www.abebooks.co.uk, but it is hard to be certain which are Royal Editions. One so advertised is on offer for £80 (from Belgium), but there may be other cheaper copies to be had if you search through.
