Hi Yvonne, Michael and all, A stab in the dark but could it be "foreign"? It may not go as far back as the Flemish settlement in the Pembrokeshire area - that's medieval, I beleive - but there are plenty of other waves of immigration to look at. Not to mention that it just may have been an individual coming in search of work / following an employer.
