I agree with all the gratitude due to all parties and found what may be another Gibbon family in the probate of 1703 who seems to have had some property. Also it is a very comprehensive summary of the history of Wales. My personal query was why no reference to the gas lighting which started all over the country as well as Wales in the early part of the 19th.c.? Of course, I am particularly interested in that subject because after passing an individual Act of Parliament for Haverfordwest in the reign of William !V the town was allowed to install the Gasworks of which my great-grandfather, Ebenezer Gibbon, was the first "Superintendent".
