    3. Hi Carol, I think these are the parents of the man who emigrated to USA and took part in the battle of Little Bighorn with General Custer? As regards Batine I am sorry I cannot help but I have heard stories that French (maybe just a few) settled along the coast of North Pembrokeshire in the 1700's but of course that could be incorrect. I have ancestors with French sounding name who have been in Pembs and South Cards since around 1700. That surname is Peregrine.I am still trying to sort it out!
