I don't know who was interested in this Surname? But I did a good deal of Research in to the ELLIOTT family of Cardiff about 25 years ago,for a Lady living in Watford. The Head of this Family being Thomas ELLIOTT the "Soda Water Manufacturer"of Bute Street,Cardiff Docks. Amongst his many connections were the CADLE Family of Tobacconists. There is a Picture of One of these Tobacco Shops depicted in the "Cardiff Yesterday"Series of 34 volumes.This Branch of his Many Shops in Cardiff,was situated at the Bottom end of Bute Street/James Street.
