Hi Edward Mainwaring was born c 1788 in Llannon, Carmarthenshire, and lived in Brynteg, near Tumble. According to Free BMD two Edward Mainwarings died in 1851, one in the June quarter and one in the December quarter. I want to order my Edward's death certificate but don't know which one of these two to go for. Does anyone have any information which might help me to order for the right certificate? Dear Moni, >From the Wills index, Wills for several Edward Mainwarings were proven.......... in 1758 (Llannon), 1792 (Llanedi), 1814 ( Llangennech), an Elizabeth Mainwaring of Llanedi in 1811, a John of Llannon in 1748 and a Thomas of Llanedi in 1812. Unfortunately no Will for the persons who died in 1851. If you have two in 1851 who may have appeared on a census before they died, then apart from Llannon, you may find the other in one of the areas mentioned.
