Hi Yvonne! As promised, this is the information which I extracted for the CCED regarding Edward Harries - parish spellings as in the original documents. Edward HARRIES Ordained Deacon 21 Sep 1822 by Thomas BURGESS, Bishop of St David's Licensed by the same bishop as Stipendiary Curate at Crinow, Pembs 22 Sep 1822 at £40 per annum Licensed as Stipendiary Curate at Llandissilio, Pembs 15 Nov 1822 at £40 per annum Ordained Priest 11 Oct 1823 by Thomas BURGESS Collated 9 Jul 1824 to the Vicarage of Llandissilio, on the death of John EVANS by Bishop Thomas BURGESS. This means that the Bishop was the patron of the living. Edward HARRIES was also licensed as Stipendiary Curate at Egremont, Carms 1 Nov 1832 at £40 per annum. This is, of course, only 1.4 miles from Llandissilio.
