I am not sure when he was the Vicar there. He was born about 1909 in Carmarthenshire, probably in Pontyberem. I was told by a cousin of his that he was a Vicar. The cousin told me William was married, but they did not have any children. He could not remember William's wife's name. I am hoping someone via the church or an older resident will know her, whether they remained in the area and could they possibly be buried at the church cemetery. ****** He became vicar of Eglwyswrw in 1959 (Crockford's Clerical Directory 1971-72), but had disappeared from Crockford by 1987. He had previously been curate of Llanfihangel --ar-Arth, curate of St Ishmael, and rector of Puncheston. Studied at the University of Wales and Clifton Theological College. AJ
