Dear Mary Beth, The list of rectors at St. Christiolus Church ends at the record for 1900 in West Wales Historical Records. I have the church's Monumental Inscriptions from the Dyfed Family History Society which were "Transcribed by Cissie Jones and Dave Jenkins of the Cardigan Branch of the Dyfed FHS - Typed by Gaynor Jenkins" and I note that one of the last entries is for 1990 There are a couple of Rev. Jones shown, but not in the time frame you seek, and with different initials. Dave Jenkins name does not appear in the current List of Office Holders for the Cardiganshire FHS, but Menna Evans of The National Library, Aberystwyth, is the current Secretary and her last report shows an e-mail address ymholiadau@cgnfhs.org.uk... perhaps she could tell you how to contact him. I am not sure when he was the Vicar there. He was born about 1909 in Carmarthenshire, probably in Pontyberem. I was told by a cousin of his that he was a Vicar. The cousin told me William was married, but they did not have any children. He could not remember William's wife's name. I am hoping someone via the church or an older resident will know her, whether they remained in the area and could they possibly be buried at the church cemetery. Someone told me of a Mr. David Jenkins who was quite knowledgeable about local history. Is he still about?
