Evans Listers Thomas Evans (1838-1902) Llandyfriog. Father Benjamin (Llangoedmor 1806-1881), laborer. Mother unsure, possibly Rebeccah Jones (1802-1876). Married Jemima Jones (Cenarth 1840-Bedwellty 1880) in Graig Chapel, Newcastle-Emlyn. I'm unable to directly link Thomas to parents through census even though I believe I have them placed together in Bedwellty in the 1871 census. I have not sought birth records, as I would have to order many, but it may be my only option. There is no actual family knowledge other than that of Benjamin Evans (Cenarth 1872-USA c1930), my Grandfather. If anyone has suggestions as to sources or contacts, I would really appreciate such information. They had a daughter, Mary, born 12 Jun 1829 who married Benjamin Gibbons abt.1850 PEM and emigrated 1857. Is there any connection?
