Hello All, Many thanks for your very interesting replies. I am very surpised to see the contribution from Pat which states that Rev Edward Harries and wife had a son at Llandysilio in Jan 1841 as I cannot find this family there in census of 1841. Maybe they moved soon after Jan of that year. I wonder Pat where Rev Harries lived at his death,You said you saw this in Camrian Index. Another surprising thing about him is that according to IGI he was born at Haverfordwest in approx 1800. He was a Welsh speaking Welshman so I am presuming his parents must have been Welsh speaking. Another thing I would like to add that I was mistaken in reading the source from UK and US Directories. What was actually meant was that he had work published in 1824, not that he was a curate between 1801 and 1824. Therefore there were not two Rev Harries' in history of Llandysilio! They were the same man! Yvonne, Edward Harries is in Llandissilio in 1841. Ancestry has him indexed as Edward HARNES, at Bryndissil - HO107/1445/8 , folio 8, p.10. I found him by browsing through the pages for Llandissilio.
