Gawd knows how old the bear was, but the smell, of tobacco was just wonderful.( I can smell it now) That would be our treat for being good, as I'm sure many other children, a trip to Cardiff to go and see the bear. Cadle's was probably a Cardiff icon. Not for the store to children but for the Grizzy. Also for directions to the train station. ( Passed the Bear). My first direction's to Cardiff from the train was passed the bear!! I wonder how they came about the bear??
