>From my transcription of all the P.R.’s of Pembroke St Michael 1711 to 1950’s and in the register for the period 1814 to 1837 I note; 11 Mar 1823 William Jones a Bach of Pembroke St Michael married Mary Griffiths of Pembroke St Mary by banns in front of C. Phillips. Both signed their names in the presence of George Froyne and John Griffiths (Notes; 1.George Froyne was Parish clerk of this parish at the time, a position that would stay in the family both here and at Pembroke St Mary for generations to come. 2.A Bride or groom only had to reside in a parish for a minimum of 6 weeks to be of that parish at mrge. Therefore the parish shown at mrge may well have no relationship to the parish of baptism or even of birth) >From my transcription of the Parish registers of Pembroke St Mary in the Baptism register for the period 1748 to 1812 I note the following; 01 Jan 1800 William to William & Ann Jones baptized 21 Sept 1800 William to William & Frances baptized 13 Apr 1806 William to William and Elizabeth Jones baptized 14 June 1807 William to David & Elizabeth Jones baptized 11 Nov 1807 William to Samuel and Anne Jones baptized For Pembroke St Michael from my transcription of the baptism register covering period 1796 to 1812 I note 10 Aug 1803 William to George and Martha baptized 24 Aug 1806 William to James & Elizabeth baptized. >From my transcription of the baptism register of Pembroke St Mary 1748 to 1812 I note there is no mention of a baptism to a Mary Griffiths around the time of your interest. There is a Mary baptized in 1755. The same goes for Pembroke St Michael from the register 1796 to 1812 there is no mention of the baptism of a Mary Griffiths.
