    3. I find that according to the 1901 census one of my connections, thankfully remote, wound up in Dartmoor. In 1891 the family was farming in Crai, Defynnock but by 1901 the wife and children are living in Brynaman. Is there any way that I can find out what was the reason for his incarceration? He was David Bowen MOSES, born Llywel 1859. Many thanks in advance Roger M Evans

    3. I agree with all the gratitude due to all parties and found what may be another Gibbon family in the probate of 1703 who seems to have had some property. Also it is a very comprehensive summary of the history of Wales. My personal query was why no reference to the gas lighting which started all over the country as well as Wales in the early part of the 19th.c.? Of course, I am particularly interested in that subject because after passing an individual Act of Parliament for Haverfordwest in the reign of William !V the town was allowed to install the Gasworks of which my great-grandfather, Ebenezer Gibbon, was the first "Superintendent". 3. Hello Listers..... The Earl of Lisburne, Ernest A Vaughan, is listed as being on the 1851 census in London. However I have failed to find him on ancestry in my local library. I am trying to see whether he and his wife were accompanied by any of his household from Crosswood, where I am hoping my t Gdmother was employed at that time. Does any lister know where he would have stayed? did he have a townhouse in London at this time. Regards Parry Edwards GFHS 22

    2. Peg Horn
    3. I wonder if someone could help me find the death of my great grandmother Margaret LEWIS who lived at 3 Church Road, Burry Port in the early 1900's. I believe she died about 1936 but wasn't able to find the death on Free BMD as they don't have anything shown for that year. She was born Margaret THOMAS about 1859 in Llanelly, married a man named Shem DAVIES on the 19th of July 1879. He died in 1884 and she later married a man named Thomas LEWIS. I don't know the date of their marriage. I would also like to find Thomas Lewis's death. He died after 1929 and before 1936. Any help would be appreciated. Peggy Horn in Toronto

After 1948, it continued to provide care for the elderly under the name of Lodge Hospital.  I therefore wonder if it also bore this name during the earlier period. As my aunt previously lived in Church Street, Pembroke Dock I wonder why she was treated in Narberth.  Any feedback would be appreciated Bye for now Joy
