George W. Dyess named his daughter Elizabeth Lofton Dyess, his son John Hall Dyess named his son Andy Loftin Dyess. What is the connection here? Elizabeth was his first child, was it the maiden name of his wife's mother or the maiden of George's grandmother? Any suggestions? George continued to use surnames through his children as in Winfield SCOTT Dyess, and John HALL Dyess. I need feedback here! Do not let me do all the work, you all participate, please.
