Good Morning Cousins... Just a reminder about the DYESS reunion.... On Friday, May 1, 1998... Don Marler has reserved a room (#133) at the Roadway Inn on McArthur Drive for all of us to meet and share information....We can meet about 7PM... That will give everyone time to check in, etc.... I am preparing family group sheets, etc.... Don and I are preparing some pictures to display, etc.... Then..on May 2, 1998... we have the family reunion at Senator B. G. DYESS house. The address is 2015 Shirly Park Place, Alexandria, La...71301 The reunion will begin at 10AM and that will give us time to meet the folks that are coming in for the gathering.....and....time to obtain information from them as well.... After the reunion, we are forming some outings for those interested. There are at leasttwo local cemeteries that would be of importance to the DYESS family and...also one of the DYESS relatives has a museum that is very vital to our history and the history of the times of our ancestors.... Some of us will be available to do some more research and/or outings on Sunday if anyone wants more time....
