HI... I'm trying to find where Thomas D. Dyess, his wife (Nancy Jenkins Dyess), and two of their children are buried.... I have the following information: Thomas D. Dyess was born 1812 in Georgia. His wife, Nancy Jenkins was born 1817 in Georgia. They were married in Stewart County, Georgia, November 10, 1836. THOMAS D. DYESS and NANCY JENKINS settled in Cherokee County near Rusk, Texas about 1865, and in 1868, he, his wfe and two youngest children, M. C. Dyess and Alvey G. Dyess, died within 24 hours of each other. I have found a Cheokee County website (which is good) but...does not give any information about cemetaries... Does anyone have information on where these people might be buried??? Thanks!!! kaite...
