Michele, and Other Researchers, Do you have VENTRESS and/or BRYAN of Smith County, TN?????? I have a Kizzy VENTRESS who was 1st wife of Thomas DIAS (DYAS-DIES or any spelling). Thomas was born c1782 Jones Co, NC, died Dec.1847 Smith Co, TN, married (1) Kizzy VENTRESS b.c1784 Jones Co, NC; d.1819 Smith Co, TN (Maybe dau. of David VENTRESS who sold land to Thomas DICE/DIES in 1804, Smith Co, TN.) The Ventresses were in Jones Co, NC in 1784 (2) Hester BRYAN ...I know nothing more of Hester BRYAN. Need names of her parents, siblings, etc. I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching DICE-DYAS-etc. of SMITH CO, TN; also VENTRESS and/or BRYAN of SMITH CO, TN.
