Hi, Does anyone know who Fred Sr./Jr. are? Frederick Gary Dutton Sr.-no info mother --no info Frederick Gary Dutton Jr. called Fred--b.16 June 1923 Julesburg, Co. Attended Burlingame and San Mateo public schools, U. of CA Berkeley, in fall of 1941. Army-1943- as enlisted but later became an officer; was prisoner of war for a time. Decorated. Returned to CA and entered Berkeley-graduating w/honors in 1946. Attended and grad. from Stanford Law School-recalled to Army (Korean War) as he started practicing law- 1957-was Chief Assistant Attorney General -CA ; 1958 CA state campaign mgr for Gov. Pat Brown; then Chief of Staff for the Gov. 1960-invited to be Deputy National Chairman of the Citizens for Kennedy; upon Kennedy's election Fred was Assistant Sec of State until 1964; then worked with Johnson in his campaign; returned to law practice and in opened his own law office about 1966. 1968-in charge of Robt F. Kennedy's Presidential campaign until the assissination in Los Angeles. Has since practiced law in Washington DC and has written several books. M. in 1947 0r 48 and later divorced. Father of Christopher (Kit) Dutton, Lisa Dutton and Eve Dutton. Would think he is retired now. Do not know where his children and families are. Thanks, Randy Lilley
