This list has been very quiet..... here's a question to see if you're all awake...(and to see if my ISP has all the bugs ironed out and whether I'm finally back on-line!) Although Cope/Leycester does not give any birth or death records for ODARD, nor does he provide the name of his wife------I've been looking at Curt's updated web page and find that he has provided us with that new data. WOW! - CURT! ......where did you come up with this interesting new info?? (BTW, I like the looks of your updates!) My only problem with this new wife is that she seems to be a lot older than ODARD....but well, that could happen. But what really bothers me is that if her birth date is correct...she would have been 51 years old at the birth of their only son. That's a bit of a stretch. Any input here? I also have to question the similarity in the names of his "new" wife and that of his son, Hugh. Oh, and Curt....while I've got you on the line here.....I think you've got an error in Generation 30......John Dutton, the mayor of Chester. You've got him down as being burnt at the pulpit along with his son Geoffrey. I looked at that entry on the chart....and that word looks like BURIED --- not burnt. I would guess that they were buried under the floor ---near the pulpit. Ah well, a simple mistake.....you really need a magnifying glass to read all that small print!
